This picture means a lot to me because it represents a tremendous change both outwardly and inwardly. It was the first time I really saw myself as a mom.
Snapshots of a journey... A journey just begun, I should say.
I would say that I can't remember my old life before my little angel came. But that's not true. Everything that I've experienced in the thirty-nine years before my angel came along has made me the mother I am today-- for better or for worse! Hahaha!
Mischievous little sprite! You can't catch her. I always try. Mommies have got to get their kisses in somehow. But as she gets bigger (and faster!) it's getting harder and harder to reach my daily quota. Boo-ness!
I SOOOO wanted to put her in the pot. But my mother would have kicked my ass.
My two favorite people-- besides my mom. I plan on giving my husband some semblance of privacy in this blog, so you might not see him much. AND he says that if I write about him, I can't make him an object of ridicule, so, yeah... there goes the fun...
I love this picture. We were surrounded by blossoming fruit trees and it smelled GORGEOUS.
I only want her to be happy...
Discovering new things...
It's mind-boggling to me how everything is new for her. Everything.

Beautiful pictures! Also a beautiful family. Motherhood is amazing, huh? Children really do change everything.
